Please note that due to local conditions, we can only provide a limited number of bus parking spaces.

Therefore, a bus parking space can only be assigned upon prior registration and subject to availability.

We ask bus companies to purchase their group tickets in advance by phone at 01806 113311 or by email and to obtain parking confirmation at the same time.

Without prior registration, we cannot guarantee a parking space for your tour bus.

Take the B17 to the “Klosterlechfeld” exit.
In Klosterlechfeld, exit the B17 and follow the signs to Geltendorf and Kaltenberg.

From Munich:
Take the A96 highway toward Lindau, passing Lake Ammersee.
Exit the highway at Windach. Follow the signs toward Eresing on County Road LL13.
Follow the main road through Eresing. In Eresing, turn left after 270 m toward Schwabhausen; after just under 4 km, turn right at the intersection toward Kaltenberg/Geltendorf. After about 4 km, you’ll reach Kaltenberg. Follow the signs to the designated parking areas.

Coming from Lindau:

Take the A96 to the Landsberg Ost exit and follow the signs toward Kaltenberg via Penzing and Schwabhausen.

During the event, Kaltenberg will be connected to the public transit system via the special route LVG 99.

Please note that this is a special service that is not operated by us and is subject to a fare.
MVV tickets or the Deutschlandticket are not accepted! The fare listed below must be paid in all cases. Tickets can be purchased on the bus.

The Geltendorf train station is located a few kilometers from Kaltenberg and offers connections to the S-Bahn and regional trains.

Sufficient parking spaces are available.

Our new ice rink in the arena is a real ice rink and is open to all visitors during the opening hours of the magical Christmas market.

For safety reasons, you may not bring your own ice skates. However, there is a skate rental service available for a feethat will reliably provide you with the right size.

Please note:

From Monday through Thursday, the ice rink is closed.

It is open always during regular market hours from Friday through Sunday as well as on the additional days it’s open after Christmas.

Skates are available in sizes 25–50. A limited number of skating aids are also available for the youngest skaters.
Skates can be rentedfor €5 per pair. The rental period is 1 hour. A fee of 2.50 € will be charged for each additional 10-minute period or portion thereof.

Children under the age of 10 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

Whether you’re taking your first steps on the ice or trying out a pirouette or two—we hope you have a wonderful time ice skating at Kaltenberg Castle!

We recommend that you do not bring dogs to the Christmas market.
There are many visitors, including small children, on the grounds who may not be used to dogs or may be afraid of them.
Furthermore, fire shows, Perchten, music, and crowds on salted walkways do not provide an ideal environment for dogs. If you do decide to bring your dog, please keep it on a short leash.
